Thursday Hours

Thursday Hours

7 Episodes

When young Daphné, a woman who lives for the weekend, wakes up to find that Friday never came, she is plunged into a nightmarish cycle of endless Thursdays and her grip on reality starts to slip.

Vision for the Show:
We can expand Thursday Hours into a full-length TV series of 20-30 minute episodes by deepening Daphné's character arc, introducing new supporting characters, and setting the show in Paris, where we explore diverse settings of the magical city beyond the single location of her house. Taking existing concepts and expanding on them while keeping each episode feeling like a different genre, this expansion would maintain the show’s throwback French New Wave style, while offering a dynamic, evolving narrative, that resonates with a broader audience. As we follow Daphné's journey, the raw and relatable exploration of mental health will become a gripping story that invites viewers to feel every moment of Daphné’s internal struggle, really rooting for her to save her own life by breaking the cycle of never-ending Thursdays.
