The Strange Case of Lucy Chandler is a 12-part web series that draws inspiration from shows like Veronica Mars and Twin Peaks while mixing in elements of 40s noir, Dashiell Hammett-esque hard-boiled crime fiction, and the horror films of John Carpenter.

Vision for the Show:
Lucy's struggle with mental illness and her "Found Family" dynamic with some of the supporting characters continues to evolve throughout subsequent seasons. Their interpersonal storylines are serialized, but each season revolves around a new case/mystery. While the overarching style of the show remains consistent, each season incorporates elements from different subgenres - cosmic horror, action/thriller, conspiracy, etc.
