When a surprise eviction notice appears on their apartment door, a young couple gets creative as they try to hold on to their home and their dreams for the future in the face of an impossible housing market.

Vision for the Show:
The real story behind The Eviction (behind the brute reality of receiving an unexpected eviction notice!), is the shared experience of untold numbers of young people (but-not-that-young-anymore) striving to reach basic life-goals: having a home, a family, even just owning a pet, only to find these goals to be bizarrely out of reach in today’s world. Expanding The Eviction into a full-length series gives us the time and space to intimately explore the nuances of life and grow with our main and supporting characters as they strive and struggle not only to find a place to call home, but to have a family, find the balance between life purpose and salary, and find some sense of security in a topsy-turvy world. All of this relatable chaos, tempered with the kind of cheeky relatable humor we rely on to get through our days still smiling.
