Vision for the Show:
What makes Son of Ares different from other previous Greek mythology stories, is it focuses on the gods we don’t hear about as much and brings attention to the crimes committed by Poseidon who is always seen as the fun, carefree fish guy. There are many similar themes from Homer’s novels The Iliad and The Odyssey that appear in Son of Ares, such as helping others and treating everyone as equals. This particular series will channel the actual myths and stays as close to them as possible while still creating a very relatable and entertaining series that can be expanded because there are a plethora of gods that can be explored and added to the story.
