Beige

Beige

4 Episodes

After being released from a mental wellness center, comedian Rob Soto faces the challenge of adjusting to a new family dynamic while navigating his identity as a beige man trying to be a black man in a white man's world.

Vision for the Show:
We hope to see Beige unfold over two seasons, the first season (6 episodes) seeing Rob come to terms with the new normal of how life moved on without him. The second season dives into why Rob acted the way he did and why he checked himself into a mental health facility, and finally, the third season shows the success he has by focusing on healthy living and pursuing his craft while keeping his priorities in a row. Beige will closely align with the writer/creator Rob Santos’s life as a comic from Hartford, CT, who is attempting to make it in NYC but realizing that greatness can be made where the heart is, at home.
